What a moving tribute you have created for your parents. I always knew you were a class act. I still remember when he came to the play and you were kind enough to introduce me. I have met a lot of celebs in my time, but meeting the man who played Zorro is still one of the biggest thrills I ever had. Thanks, Toni. See you at MySpace. Watson <graveguy56@msn.com> - Friday, August 22, 2008 11:38 PM (EST) Your dad was my childhood hero. Growing up would have been a lot tougher without him as a role model. Professor John Robinson was a man's man. The kind of guy you'd want on your team when the going got rough. I'd imagine there's a little John Robinson in every boy that grew up in that era, and they're better for it. Best wishes to you and your family Toni. Michael Farling <mfarling@tampabay.rr.com> - Sunday, July 06, 2008 4:29 PM (EST) When I was a child I loved to enjoy el Zorro. I'll never forget those days. You're beautiful. Hugs, José Mena - Caracas, Venezuela <menaloza@hotmail.com> - Monday, June 16, 2008 10:47 AM (EDT) Just a brief email to let you know how much your father meant to me. I used to watched Zorro and Lost in Space as a young boy, and I always looked up to him as a hero figure, but more importantly he became a mentor. I tried to model my life on parts of his characters, i.e. courageous, strong, knowledgeable and athletic. Nowadays (approaching my 50's) I look back and see many of those characteristics in myself and the things I have done - I owe some of those things to your father. Unfortunately Guy passed away sometime ago so I cannot thank him personally for that. Perhaps you could pass on my feeling in your prayers to him. I still regularly watch both famous series with delight as they show how great a character actor he was. I am saddened that he was not given other roles to play, as I know he would have played them well. He was lucky to be working in an era of adventure shows, many of which he could have easily done. Anyhow, best of luck to you and your family. Tim Lawrence <tlauren@optusnet.com.au> - Monday, June 09, 2008 4:50 AM (EST) Hi Toni. Your father was my favorite character on Lost in Space. I watched it as a kid when it first came on tv. All through my adult life I have watched it in reruns (I have all the episodes on dvd) . Your father was a very good actor and the most dashing character I have ever seen on tv. Thank you for having this page. It is really a pleasure to be able to read about your father's life and career. May God bless you and your family. Stephen <stephen0922@verizon.net"> - Tuesday, April 08, 2008 3:12 PM (EST) I wanted to say to you Toni thank you for creating such a nice homage to your father. Very nice photographs. Warmly, Sophie <good_avrilink@hotmail.com> - Saturday, March 22, 2008 1:00 AM (EDT) Hi Toni. What a wonderful site you have created. It is also very touching, the tribute to your mother. I've been a fan of your father's at an early age. I'm in my mid-forties and still remember the kindness and class that your father had as an actor. A true Mediterranean beauty. What's up with you and your projects presently? Would you add a picture with your child on the site? Many happy returns to all of you. Love, Alexandra Gregoriades, Athens, Greece <paolekag@otenet.gr> - Monday, February 18, 2008 8:46 AM (EDT) Hi Toni! I'm Guillermo from Buenos Aires. The first time I saw your father as Zorro was when I was ten years old. There were the four one hour chapters, (and I couldn't seen again from there). Four years later the series could be seen in Argentina TV (on Channel 13 on January 1968). I'm now 53 and I still watch every time I can this fabulous and unforgettable series, (now again on Channel 13, everyday, two chapters a day). Of course you know very well how much your father is loved in our country and around the world. I want to thank your father for the continous happiness he still is giving to his fans. And I congratulate you for this loving website in his memory. Chau! Guillermo <grrm@arnet.com.ar> - Friday, January 18, 2008 9:33 PM (EDT) Hello Toni, very beautiful site. I am Alexandre, I live in Brazil. I saw your father's work, and I see with happiness the beautiful things that he left. You and your brother. You are very pretty. It is very good to see you, to know a little of your work and mainly to see the homage that you made to your mother on your site. Congratulations. I wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy New Year, full of peace, greetings and a lot of happiness for you and your family. Your Brazilian friend, Alexandre Ramos Mastrella <animastrella@yahoo.com.br> - Thursday, December 20, 2007 3:35 PM (EST) I was 13 when Zorro came out on TV. Your father was my first crush and it lasted all the way through the series. I never missed a week. Even when I went to visit an aunt who did not have a TV, I found a house nearby where I could watch Zorro on Saturday. I still have so many treasures from that time because every birthday and Christmas I received "Zorro" things. Thank you for this site. It certainly brought back memories. I have not watched any of the other Zorro movies because your father was the only "Zorro". Gloria <gloryannens@aol.com> - Friday, November 30, 2007 1:18 PM (EST) Hello Toni, it is so nice to leave this note to you and your mother. I have long been a fan of your father as Zorro. No one could play the part like him or ever will. He had such flair and charisma on screen. I am also very touched by the tribute to your mother. She is a beautiful and classy lady. It is wonderful to remember back when Zorro first road onto the television. He is one for the history books. A gentleman and a very special man like no other. Viva El Zorro forever. Carlyn Taylor <carlyntaylor@sbcglobal.net> - Wednesday, October 10, 2007 11:11 AM (EST) Hello Toni, I'm Esmee, 21 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I love your site and I loved your dad as an actor! Thank you so much for all the memories. I watched Zorro when I was only 3 years old. Your dad was an awesome actor! One of the greatest. I've been a great fan for almost 18 years. If I see him now I think back on the good times when Zorro was still on tv. As I see the pictures of you and your family, I believe he had to be a very happy man. I would love to meet you and your family some day, but of course, many people would like that, haha. Do you have some more pictures for me of your dad? I have a daughter, she's 2 years old. I named her Antonia (Toni). She's half Dutch, half Amrican. Well, I hope you send me an email. Best wishes to you and your family! Love, Esmee & Toni <sweet_dragon1@hotmail.com> - Thursday, September 20, 2007 6:02 AM (EST) The impending 50th Anniversary of Zorro triggers so many wonderful memories. First the show when seen originally, and then the joy of rediscovering it years later on the Disney channel. Seeing it as an adult, I appreciated it even more. The quality of the production and the cast, especially your father. That sent me online to learn more about him and found your brother's site just in time to be part of the Star celebration and meet your family. I just fell in love with your mother. She is such a beautiful person, so it was a blessing to meet her and the family again at the Mission bench celebration and then the 80th birthday celebration where your mother recognized me without the cast and walker. I can't make it to the Zorro reunion this year, but I wanted you and your family to know how blessed I feel to have met you all, been part of the celebrations of the life and work of a very special man. "Zorro" with your father starring was demonstrated in our country when it had been already colorized in 1993. Since that time there are a lot of "Zorro" fans in Russia. I literally grew up watching Zorro (here there are reruns even today, I guess you know what big fans of the series we are) and, really, your father means a lot to me; he's one of those people you obviously never got to know in the flesh but that have a very precious place in your heart. So, THANK YOU for keeping him alive and bringing him a little closer to the rest of the world. I loved everything about the show. I couldn't wait for the next episode the following week, always waiting to see how Dr. John Robinson would take care of his family and brave the elements. It saddened me very much. I still watch and enjoy his shows often, especially Zorro. He was a fine man. Carl Hoosack <norvella@juno.com> - Friday, November 24, 2006 5:51 AM (EST) My wife and I are re-living the sixties through DVD sets of shows that we loved when we were growing up in the 50's and 60's. "Lost is Space" was one of our favorites and it is a shame that TV shows today do not seem to convey the sense of morals, guidance and of family that they did back then. It is nice to visit websites such as your own that carry the memories a bit further along than the shows that we all loved and allow us to see that your father had the same sense of love and dedication to family as he portrayed in the TV shows. Thanks for sharing just a tiny bit of that with us, Toni. Glenn <gkelly@reveregroup.com> - Friday, October 06, 2006 3:16 PM (EDT) Dear Toni, I've always loved watching Zorro when I was a kid in my country, Uruguay, and now I'm still doing this with my daughter every day! For me, your dad was the best Zorro ever, the real Zorro. Best regards, Sergio Sencion <sersencion@hotmail.com> - Wednesday, October 04, 2006 9:51 AM (EST) Dear Toni, I would like you to know what a hero your father was to me. I am a sales executive, and minority business owner. I grew up in the tough section of Newark, NJ. Your father's portrayal of Professor John Robinson in "Lost In Space" was great. He was one of three of my great heroes. He inspired me to be tough, and honest. I am now an active student of science, biology and astronomy. The "Lost In Space" series changed my life as I watched it during my early years. Your father's work helped to mold my character for good. You can ask nothing more of a man! Jerry Hodge <jhodge@armco.com> - Friday, August 25, 2006 8:43 AM (EST) Toni, I remember your Dad in Zorro, when I was a kid, and he was a hero of mine. I enjoyed visiting your site; it's very warm and hospitable. I love the section about your mother, whom I admire very much. What g-u-t-s to just go off to New York City! (I think of her when I pass the Hotel des Artistes.) And at such an interesting time to be in New York, too. Ah, but your father was my first love (or was it his horse)? I was the only girl in my family and the only one playing Zorro, though I also pretended to be the beautiful senorita, batting around a fan made with aluminum foil. I was four, everything was possible, and everything was magical. I am very glad to have re-discovered your father's Zorro on a business trip to San Diego several years ago. My life has been enriched since from the show, and I have been able to appreciate your father's work more as a "grownup" and recapture that magic and sense of possibility he infused into that part. Is there anyone around the world who has not experienced the magic of Guy Williams' Zorro? Anyway, I am finally ordering pictures! And by the way, the Central Park bench plaque is as shiny as the day it went on. Thank you for sharing your pictures with us, say hello to your mother for me, be well, be happy, and keep singing! Mary Sheeran <marysheeran@yahoo.com> - Tuesday, August 09, 2005 at 23:21:57 (EDT) Hello Toni, I was just listening to Annette Funicello's book on tape telling about her career with Mr. Walt Disney. I grew up in the fifties and The Mickey Mouse Club was very much a part of my life through television. One of my favorite shows was Zorro. Your father was the one and only Zorro! Thank you and your family so much for sharing your father with us. The fifties was truly the golden age of television and nothing that they show on television today can compare to that era. Shirley Marie Goodloe <shirley_goodloe@yahoo.com> - Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 21:15:09 (EDT) Oh, this is sooooooo cool! Your Dad was my very first hero. I didn't even realize that when I saw Zorro while growing up the actual series was loooong finished. Finding that out tho, didn't spoil a thing. He's still my all-time hero; even as a "grown-up"! When I was a little girl I used to dream that Zorro had a little girl of his own somewhere. I sooo wanted that to be true. And now, in a way, I've found out he did indeed--as his alter-ego in real life--Guy Williams. The little girl still in me is so thrilled. When your Dad died, I truly felt a part of my childhood slip away with him. It was far too soon. One day I AM gonna get to New York; and when I do, I'm gonna find his bench and have a sit on it, thank him for all those happy memories, and tell him that he's still not only my hero, but the only Zorro for me. Laura <wamozart56z@yahoo.com> - Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 10:16:27 (EDT) Hi Toni, ,just a few words to say how much pleasure your Dad's acting career, particularly Lost In Space, has brought me over the last four decades. I first saw L.I.S. in 1965 when I was just 5 years old and now 40 years later I have purchased all the DVDS and I attend many TV conventions, one of which last year I was privileged to meet from L.I.S. Bob May, Mark Goddard, Marta Kristen and Angela Cartwright. All of them were charming and all had good words to say about your Dad. I think that your brother looks like him a lot. If you ever come over to England to any conventions it would be an honour to meet you Toni. Thank God for giving the world Guy Williams. My particular favourite L.I.S. episode is "Follow the Leader". My sincere best wishes to you and your family. I shall be watching your Dad still in another 40 years, God willing. Bye for now and take care. I almost named my son after Zorro. He was just so much fun to watch every week on television. When Disney started airing it again on T.V., I watched it faithfully. Girl I would rush home from work just to watch Zorro. My friends thought it was very silly of me, but I didn't care. I didn't want to miss one episode. I cried real tears when they took it off the air for good. He was my hero. Although I didn't know him personally, it seemed like he was a very decent person, and had a very good personality. I will always remember his gracious smile. Monica Sinkfield <mrsink2005@yahoo.com> - Tuesday, May 03, 2005 at 22:04:07 (EDT) You are really a queen. You are treasured by all I believe. I really think that your Father was one of the greatest actors that ever lived! I was just 8 years old when Lost in Space was on and I remember seeing also reruns of Zorro! He was really convinving as an actor and I was really sad reading that he was discusted with Hollywood later in his career. I have seen his Lost in Space counter part Mark Goddard in a few things on tv, and I was wondering if you know if the surviving member of Lost in Space ever have a reunion? I loved your dad in the role as John Robinson on that show he was very memorable and convincing as an actor whatever role he played. In any case, I was saddened to learn that your dad died of a brain anuerysm and I find the love you share for him on this site very compelling. You are a very beautiful woman and I trust that you and the rest of your family have been all doing well. What are you doing now in your acting career? I would love to see you on TV or if you are in a movie. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family. Feel free to stop by my site should you have any prayer requests you would want me to pray for you about, ok? May God bless you richly. I sincerely admire her sterling qualities. Your tribute to your dad is also wonderful. His work as Zorro, Will, Damon, Sindbad, Miles and the other characters was truly remarkable, not to be forgotten. I am so proud of the woman you have become, and of your brother for the man he has become. I am sure that your dad is very proud of you both, and your son, and your mother, wherever he is right now. May your family continue to prosper and be happy and may your dad rest in peace. He gave us so much of himself with his exemplary work in films and on television, work that touched our hearts deeply in roles that we can never forget. Thank you for offering this memorable tribute to your exceptional parents. I have enjoyed it. Bev - Friday, March 11, 2005 at 23:03:07 (EST) Hi Toni, Your father was a great actor. He brought me so much adventure when I was growing up. He was my favorite Zorro. He always had an air of royalty about him, a very strong and good presence. I can see where you get your good looks. Your mom looks like an angel. The best to you and your family. Joseph Ballinger <commtelcom@aol.com> - Saturday, March 05, 2005 at 22:16:07 (EST) Hi Toni, Thank you so much for allowing me to look at your website. It's very beautifully done, you should be very proud of it. I watched your dad all the time on tv. I enjoyed seeing him in Lost in Space, and Zorro. Lost in Space was my all time favorite. He was a great actor. God bless him and you and all of your family, Toni. Ricardo <asoma5@hotmail.com> - Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 20:39:58 (EST) Your father was a fantastic actor. No one could have played the part like him. Quick to articulate his lines, the right pitched voice for a Don Diego, and that masterful look about him. Being Italian myself, I am biased. Keep your father alive with this website. Jerry Ritch <grace8238@aol.com> - Sunday, January 16, 2005 at 21:39:38 (EST) Apreciada Toni: Tu padre fue y sigue siendo el héroe y el modelo para muchos de los que fuimos jóvenes hace más de treinta años, no solamente en USA sino también como en mi caso, en Ecuador. Mis hijos también son admiradores de tu extrañado padre. Lo recordamos mucho en su cumpleaños 81. Saludos. Javier Ortiz <jortiz@cablenoticias.com> - Friday, January 14, 2005 at 22:08:13 (EST) Your dad had a massive influence on me and my friend Andy. We are both now 48 years of age and were and are big Lost in Space fans. As young 11 year old kids, we saw Guy, (John) as a good looking mans man. We recently went to a convention in Birmingham England (by the way, we are both from South London and married, (not to each other) but to ladies, just thought I would mention that. Anyway, we saw Angela Cartwright, Mark Goddard, Marta Kristen and Bob. We purchased photos of them and had our photos taken with them, however, all we really wanted was info on Guy and we bought photos only with Guy in them. I have seen every episode of Lost in Space and as sad as it sounds, I know most of your dad's lines, including the expressions and body movement. I love The Prince and the Pauper and Sindbad. Your dad was fantastic and should have been the next Errol Flynn. Bloody Hollywood. Guy was probably just too nice I guess. I loved him in the Anti-Matter Man. Mark and all the gang said he was a lovely man. I am half Italian so I was suprised to see both parents were Italian. Anyway, I must go now. Your website is great. Your brother is nearly as good looking as his dad, (nearly), and you look beautiful. In fact, the whole family, including your mum and kids, take after your dad. God bless you all and I will visit the site again when I can. Regards, Robert Carrington <rob.carrington@amserve.net> - Friday, January 07, 2005 at 18:17:46 (EST) God bless you Toni. I was very moved by your tribute to your mum. Makes me think of my dad who passed away recently. As a child I grew up watching your dad on TV. Wish he was still around. George from Sydney, Australia <geoched@compuserve.com> - Wednesday, January 05, 2005 at 23:38:37 (EST) Hi Toni, Very nice website in honor of your Dad and Mom. Brings back memories for me of the fifties. The good old days! Your dad was a genuine man and you could tell just looking and listening to him through the TV set. You were very fortunate to have such a man for a father. I would enjoy corresponding with you if you have time? I am an old (51) retired Navy man and would enjoy it. All the best for you, Bill <Lynch115@msn.com> - Wednesday, January 05, 2005 at 09:09:03 (EST) Hi Toni, I had a crush on your father since I was eight years old, and never missed an episode starring one of the finest men around. Now that I am 55 and by the way, I have every episode of the Zorro series, to me and many others he will always be the man called Zorro. I am glad that Guy finally got the star he so deserved. It took long enough. You are very blessed to have had a father like him. There are not enough words to tell you and your brother how lucky you both were. I wish I had met your father for I feel we would have been very good friends. Sometimes I wish there were more like him. God bless you and your family. Thank you for this beautiful site which allowed me to see your intimate family photos. I 've been a great fan of your dad since I was a little girl and I haven't forgotten him. I didn't know anything about his family: He was a very handsome man and I see he had also a beautiful wife and a beautiful daughter. Zorro's first season DVD has just been releasedin France two months ago. I didn't wait to buy it and I enjoy it. Sorry for my approximate English. Best regards. Luis Willis <canmex@mergetel.com> - Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 19:27:34 (EDT) I have just discovered that I am related to your mother's side of the family. My great-grandfather, Albert Pipkin married Lola Lee Cooper in Toone, TN. in the late 1800s. I always knew I was related to David Cooper from Bolivar, TN. but did not know he was connected to your mother. She was and still is a beautiful woman. I plan on doing some more research to find out the relation of Lola Lee Cooper and your mother. Simon Pipkin <simonpipkin@hotmail.com> - Monday, July 12, 2004 at 11:56:39 (EDT) Hi Toni, I'm 39 years old and still enjoy watching your dad's movies. They have a wonderful way of transporting one to another time and place of adventure. Unlike the movies made today, you can escape for a breif time into your fantasies without the violence, nudity and profanity that is forced down our throats today in the name of art and freedom of expression. In this time when we are losing our last Hollywood icons of the golden age such as Ronald Reagan and Bob Hope, it's comforting to know that we will alway have them and your dad in all the wonderful movies they made. God bless. Curt Phillips, Memphis, TN <cphillips@calwesternpkg.com> - Friday, July 09, 2004 at 01:35:22 (EDT) Hi Toni, I enjoyed your website. Your dad was an awesome actor! I never knew Guy Williams had such a pretty daughter. I've always watched Zorro on T.V., it was my favorite series. I've always thought that Guy Williams was a very good looking man. No one could play the part of Zorro better than him. Thank you for having this site. I learned something about your dad that I didn't know until now. You had a great dad. For years, I would take some time to look up information on the life of Mr. Williams. He has always inspired me when I was young and I really don't want to forget him in the future. I guess because he was a lookalike to my late uncle. Thank you for the chance to talk about Guy Williams. Michael Jolly <Daffy14017@aol.com> - Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 12:06:33 (EDT) Hi Toni- My name is Rich and I've been a Zorro fan since I was about 4 years old. I'm only a year or two younger than your brother, and I still have very fond memories of your Dad's show. (I still own several vintage items of memorabilia, including an autographed photo, which is the centerpiece of my collection.) He was my introduction to the character, and will forever in my mind and heart be the only Zorro. I just wanted to say thank you to him through you, for the many, many enjoyable hours of entertainment he gave (and continues to give, via video) to me and millions of other fans over the world. God bless you and your family! Sincere Good Wishes, Rich Pine, Chicago, IL <bondohmss@comcast.net> - Friday, May 07, 2004 at 13:49:23 (EDT) Fantastic site. It brings back my childhood to where every Friday at 5:00pm on tv I was faithful not to miss Zorro, my favorite hero. God only knows how I admired him. May he rest in peace, for his passing here on this beautiful planet was not in vain, because he has made a lot of people happy and I'm sure he'll never be forgotten. Thank you and your family for this site. May the lord bless you all. I am 59 years old, but when I saw your site, suddenly I felt like I was 10 again. Sending all my love to you and your family. Thank you! Lou Primo, Montreal, Canada - Sunday, April 04, 2004 at 14:54:17 (EST) To Ms. Williams: I am 38 and grew up watching your father in my favorite show from my childhood, "Lost In Space". I can't explain why, but I always admired and appreciated his acting, and in fact, he was my favorite in the show. I always hoped to be as dashing, good looking and athletic as your father was in the show. I hope this does not come off as wierd, but I guess I was always fascinated by your father. I extend my belated condolences to you and your family regarding his passing. I was deeply saddened by the news. Thank you for providing this site. I wish you and yours all the best. Stephen Messinger <rmessinger2@juno.com> - Friday, March 26, 2004 at 23:41:05 (EST) Dear Toni, I am 32 and I live in Paris, France. I like very, very much your site about you and your family, especially your world- famous father. I also visited your brother's site. You can bet that I was your father's biggest fan when I was a child. With my friends I always played the Zorro role and I had learned fencing too. Congratulations for your site ! :) Will you visit Paris or somewhere in France one day, or have you already visited there? Cheers ! :) Samuel <Kaneda-IRC@wanadoo.fr> - Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 16:42:51 (EST) Hi Toni - I'm a 37 year old "Lost in Space fan since childhood. I thank you for sharing your memories with us fans. I own the series on dvd now and would love to collect Zorro on dvd since I never saw it, but I also must tell you your father was one of the sexiest men alive. I'm so in awe over his great handsome looks and I'll love him forever for making me feel like he was a father to me, as well as the Robinsons. God bless. Love, Bernie Casey <caseybe@ffhsj.com> - Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 18:26:03 (EST) Hi Toni, I love your website. I'm from Connecticut and while Zorro was one of my top two most favorite western figures growing up in the 1950's [the other being the Lone Ranger] with some 30 or more cowboy shows on television weekly; I introduced my 6-year-old son to video tapes of your dad as Zorro, and believe me, he feels there is no greater super hero. He wants to remodel our house with secret passages, and has drawn me a map of where the passages should be located. He also wants to build a cave for his horse which he wants me to buy him [to be named Tornado]. Will avail ourselves of your photograph options of your dad shortly to decorate his bedroom. My son Emery, has a full regalia Zorro outfit which he daily practices changing into and out of quickly [a natural requirement of a Zorro super hero]. I got a kick out of your resume where your age is listed as 28 to 35; but I guess you can get away with that, being so very cute. Best Regards, Greg Wegh <gregwegh@hotmail.com> - Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 12:09:05 (EST) Hi, Toni! I live in High Point, NC. When I was 10 years old (in 1958), my Dad drove me to Charlotte, NC, to see your father and Buddy Van Horn on tour promoting the Zorro series. You have a beautiful family. God bless you all. Jody McGhee <josephmcghee@earthlink.net> - Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 14:07:29 (EST) Hello Toni, Thank you for your website. I want to express my admiration for your father. My father was killed in Vietnam, so I grew up without one--almost. I say almost because when I was small, my favorite show was Lost In Space, and the character of John Robinson that your father brought to the screen became a strong father figure to me. A lot of the man I am today and the father I am today comes from your dad's portrayal of that character. I give thanks to you, to him, and to your family. May he rest in peace. Martin Conrad <mjconrad@optonline.net> - Monday, March 08, 2004 at 16:35:03 (EST Toni, your page is beautiful. My family and I are fans of your dad. Zorro is my favorite, for long, long time. Your parents were the perfect couple. Your dad is alive forever, for me. I'm Argentine and you can be sure, here in my country, your father is an idol really. Thanks for reading my message, and sorry for my English, it's very wrong, but I can´t see your page without writing my tribute for my dear Zorro. Silvia <silviast57@hotmail.com> - Monday, March 08, 2004 at 05:52:50 (EST) You have a great website. It is very interesting. I am located in the Lakeland, Tennessee area, in Shelby county. My mother was related to your grandmother. Her name was Verta Chapman. Jonathan David Chapman <DCInvestigations@cs.com> - Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 23:24:25 (EST) Nice website. As a kid, I was always watching Zorro and I think that role was made for your dad. No other actor could play Zorro the same way later, cuz to most people, Guy Williams was the only Zorro!!! I was entering this site coincidentally, but it was a nice memory to my childhood and my favourite TV-serial "Zorro", so I started looking at the pictures and read about your dad. He seems to have been a nice guy. It is sad that he died so young. What I specially liked on his performance on TV was that he was always human and natural, very different to some of today's arrogant celebs! You also seem like a nice person, so I wish you good luck for your career and life! Greetings from Switzerland. Ali <aligator_k@yahoo.com> - Monday, February 23, 2004 at 18:13:41 (EST) Oh my God, Toni, I had no idea how lovely your mother is. Your tribute to your Mom is so fantastic. She is beautiful. You, obviously, got your good looks from both sides (your Mom & Dad). It appears that both you and your brother have utilized your talents and are successful in your own rights. For this we are very proud of you. I lost my Dad a few years ago and I was vey proud of his accomplishments, even though he received no publicity. He was an electrical design engineer with NASA and received commendations from the President of the United States for getting the first man on the moon. My Dad felt this was no big deal and buried the file, but I knew it existed. Upon his passing, I searched and found the file which I was able to share with my brothers and sister. What can I say, although we may have had our moments with our parents, we are proud of their accomplishments and happy that we had them to mold our lives. Please feel free to communicate with us at any time. Till later, take care, Barbara & Ray <missindy@netcarrier.com> - Friday, February 20, 2004 at 19:23:30 (EST) Hello Toni, (and Guy, Jr.) Being children of the era, we immensly enjoyed your dad as "The Zorro" and miss his fine portrayal. We were happy to find that both of you created websites in tribute to your father. As children we enjoyed him so much and we look forward to any time that we can, again, see him as Zorro. Obviously, both of you inherited his good looks. You are both lovely people who loved their dad. And we grew up to love him as well. He was the best. Love to you both, Ray & Barbara McFadden <missindy@netcarrier.com> - Friday, February 20, 2004 at 18:52:48 (EST) Good morning Toni, The other day I came across a DVD called Lost in Space Forever and I was quite sad not to see an interview with your father. I was 9 years old when I used to watch the television show he starred in and enjoyed it very much . He was very much a father figure in that show and I'm sure he was probably a good dad. I enjoyed going through your site with all the pictures and you are all a very good looking family. Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts with your family that I was a fan and I really enjoyed your dad's work. Cheers. Michel Cayer <mcayer@ctv.ca> - Friday, February 20, 2004 at 09:05:22 (EST) I am not a follower of fandoms nor do I consider actors as worthy of any more regard than anyone else. However, on this, your father's birthday, I have to tell you that he was put on this earth for a particular work. I have heard many stories of how his acting changed people's lives. I just wanted to say, that for myself, he took a broken heart and introduced it to the the true Hero and Lover of it's spirit. I will be eternally grateful for God's creation of your father and for His assigning to him the life that He did. I'm crying now, but want you to know that you, your mom, brother, and Nando are indeed literally in my prayers each day. Blessed Assurances. Janet <betweenmeandthewhippingpost@msn.com> - Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 16:37:33 (EST) I am so glad I found the website that honors my childhood hero, Zorro. As a young girl, he was a dashing, handsome man every girl would want to have ride by and sweep up onto his horse and ride off with! As an adult and married to a handsome, gentle-man, I still watch the videos of the show with my husband. We see the humor now that we missed as children. He was and still is my hero. Seeing pictures of you and brother with your dad are similar to pictures I have of our two daughters with their dad. Hmmm, I see a pattern here. I found a man with the same characteristics as your father. I think I'll go hug MY Zorro. Now, if he would only get a black horse. Got an extra black cape and mask around??? Thanks for the memories! Karen Taylor <taylorfam@pldi.net> - Wednesday, January 07, 2004 at 11:55:19 (EST) I think your father was one of the most beautiful and talented men alive. His work in Latin America wasn’t in vain. I was only three years old when Zorro first aired on ABC in 1956. I have vivid memories of watching the shows with my father, (he died when I was 11). From that time until The Disney Channel, I waited and watched for anything starring Guy Williams. We now have all the Zorro episodes on tape (both the original and colorized versions), including the hour long specials from The Wonderful World of Disney. My wife and I still enjoy watching our tapes now and then. You are as beautiful as your father was handsome. Now, I will try to decide which photos to purchase. Thanks for a great site!!! I am 44 years old and have very vivid memories of watching your dad and thinking to myself what a wonderful and handsome father. His acting had an impact on my childhood. As a young boy I would imagine what it would be like to have a father just like him. My mom used to say he looked a bit like JFK. After viewing family photos that you were thoughtful enough to post, I believe he was a wonderful father. You are not only very beautiful, but lucky to have had Guy as your dad. Guy Williams was my hero and I always wanted to find a man just like him. I thought it would be cool to have someone write a biography to let everyone know just how wonderful your dad really was. I still wish that I could have met him, but the internet is a good way to learn more about him. I will be a fan forever. Thank-you for sharing your memories of your dad with all of us. I have never sent a message to a celebrity. I have no desire to be known or meet someone just because of his/her notoriety. Having said all of that, I can not think of a single human being that had more effect on my childhood than Guy "Zorro" Williams. I can remember as a very young boy realizing that there was something very different about his kind of western hero. Guy Williams was soft spoken, kindly, displayed a sense of humor and a kind of gallant respect for anyone he came in contact with. His shows were magical and romantic. I have thought of Mr. Williams often. I find it odd that the Disney studios have made such a big deal out of Davy Crockett, yet when Guy left us, not a word was spoken. Oh well, I am sounding like a sophmoric idiot. I am a computer professional, respected, and making 6 figures. Yet, when I think of Guy Williams, I become a 5 year old child ready to thwart the bad guys. I have gone on way too long so I will just say thanks for the site and all good things to you and your family. John Archer <archjf@worldnet.att.net> - Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 02:05:14 (EDT) Hi Toni, I went by your site and saw that new great picture of you at the San Luis Rey dedication. It's great! You are the Queen of Swords running through El Zorro. What did this rascal do again? ZLove to you and Nando. Wishing the best for you both. Elise ;-) <elzorro@infonie.fr> - Friday, October 03, 2003 at 14:21:50 (EDT) I always will miss Mr. Guy Williams. He was, and is still my hero. Part of my life has been shaped by him. Zorro forever. Fernando Estrada, Guatemala <catialv@hotmail.com> - Sunday, September 28, 2003 at 12:18:59 (EDT) Dear Williams family; This message is long overdue. I want to share with you the impact that Guy Williams Catalano had on me in my tender years of grade school. I knew nothing of God or Christ or Christianity in those days, but I did in the 4th grade know about Walt Disney. Especially the Mickey Mouse Club and Zorro. The character of your father and Zorro blended together was a mystical preparation for my heart to see what later in life I realized was the influence of the spirit of Jesus upon me while I watched the programs. The spirit brought forth by Guy Williams/Zorro as example of what Christ- likeness and true Christian spirit was supposed to be like. Now that I am an adult and a Christian the ideals and altruism portrayed by Guy Williams in the Zorro series still remain in my heart as an example of artistically performed righteousness. Thank you and the Lord bless you, Bevie Bryan <bevieanne@ureach.com> - Saturday, September 06, 2003 at 20:11:05 (EDT) Gracias por dar a conocer a su padre como era en realidad y no como Don Diego. Mis sinceros agradecimientos porque yo soy una gran fan de su trabajo aunque yo ahora tengo 20 años sigo viendo el zorro por television por cable. Translation: Thank you for bringing to light your father as he was in reality and not as Don Diego. My sincere gratitude because I am a great fan of his work. Although I am now 20 years old, I continue to watch Zorro on cable television. Tamara Saldias - Friday, August 22, 2003 at 17:53:29 (PDT) The year was 1959 or 1960 on a Sunday afternoon. My sister and I were riding our bikes and turning the corner by the Catalano house, and my sister yelled, "Jimmy, it's Zorro!" Your father was coming out the back door of the house of his aunt and uncle. I got the shock of my life. It was the first time I met a star. I will never forget that as long as I live. My sister still reminds her children in New York of the day Uncle Jimmy and her saw Zorro. He was very nice to us. Thought you would enjoy the story. Thank you to open your website. God bless. James Gannotti <jamesgjr@webtv.net> - Sunday, August 10, 2003 at 19:46:50 (PDT) You are a beautiful family. I especially like the tribute to your mother. I think he was a wonderful actor and the nice man that he was shone through whatever character he played. I particularly enjoyed your tribute to your beautiful mother. She must be very proud of you. Elizabeth McEwen <elizmcewen@hotmail.com> - Sunday, July 27, 2003 at 22:45:37 (PDT) Hi Toni, Although I never knew your father, I must say that he is the most handsome actor I have ever seen on the television!! I love your site!! Chelsea Williams <cjw@risecom.net> - Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 09:34:41 (PDT) Hi, I am known for collecting The Beatles and doing modeling in the 60's. I love Lost in Space. When I'm on my horse, I'm thinking many times of Zorro and Tornado. May God bless you. Love, Guido, greetings from Belgium <guido.vandennoortgate@pandora.be> - Sunday, June 08, 2003 at 13:31:55 (PST) Dear Toni, I grew up in the sixties and discovered your dad on television. I remember watching reruns of Zorro and I followed and watched Lost in Space, never missing an episode. I admired, and even idolized your dad. I'm only sorry that he did not fight more in Hollywood for more acting roles. I guess Hollywood must have been very hard on your dad and a bit disheartening. Your father has and always will remain as one of my favorite actors. He has left a legacy behind that many will never achieve. Maybe someday I will have the opportunity to be as good of an actor as Guy was and maybe someday if you have the chance, you could share with me what it was like to be Guy's daughter and the kind of man and father that he was. Well I could go on, but I just wanted to say we all miss him very much. Thanks again for giving me the time to show my appreciation. Sincerely, Herbert J.Krygsman <herbdor84@aol.com> - Thursday, June 05, 2003 at 14:24:38 (PST) Dear Toni, Thanks for the wonderful site you have provided. It was so nice to see the photos of your father and your family. I appreciate you and your brother's work in keeping the memory of your father alive, especially for all of us baby boomers. My five year old son began watching Zorro on the Disney channel by the time he was eighteen months old. Just before he turned three, I took him out for his first Halloween, as Zorro of course!! As we lose our childhood heroes with each passing year, we are reminded how much a part of our youth is lost as well. Through the efforts of your family, our "evergreen heroes" will always be there to right the wrongs and save the day!! Thanks again for bringing back memories of the age of innocence. Sincerely, Ken Anderson, Wichita, Kansas <ironhorse7007@yahoo.com> - Saturday, May 10, 2003 at 03:56:30 (PST) Hi Toni: I visited the Lost in Space website, and I found the link to your website. As a child, I saw the Lost in Space show and the Zorro show. As I saw your father on the screen, I thought he was the representation of justice and what a father should be. My English isn´t good, and I cannot make clear my meaning, but I want to say to you that you had a very good man and a good inspiration for the next generation. Yours, Ricardo Miyares, Guatemala <ramiyares@segeplan.gob.gt> - Friday, May 02, 2003 at 07:59:30 (PST) Hi Toni, I love your site. I’m a big fan of your dad. I had no idea of all the other shows he was on. I remember living in the Bronx the year your dad passed away. At the time I was subscribing to the Disney channel for only one reason, to watch the Zorro show. Each month I would get the monthly guide, that’s where I leaned about his passing. I just sat there in my bedroom ...I could not believe it. Today I have a nice collection of Zorro comic books and videotapes. I believe I have every Zorro episode on tape. I even have a copy of The Prince and the Pauper, which I understand, is difficult to get; and I’m looking for the other films. I already started working on the Lost in Space episodes. Hopefully soon I will have them all. I have a 12 year old daughter and she knows who Zorro is...Guy Williams... the one and only. Your dad was a wonderful man; I wish I had the pleasure of knowing him. Please keep up the good work. Thanks. Jose Ramos - Friday, April 18, 2003 at 10:37:51 (PST) Hi Toni, I really enjoy your website. I was a big LIS fan and I managed to get most episodes for my seven year old son to enjoy. Your father was truly gorgeous! Karen - Friday, April 11, 2003 at 10:25:04 (PST) I admired your dad when I was younger watching Zorro. I was not a Lost in Space fan but also remember Bonanza. Your father passed on too soon. He left a wonderful family. You are all so handsome! Adrienne E. Pohrte <apohrte@ev1.net> - Wednesday, February 05, 2003 at 10:53:22 (PST) Hi dear Toni: My name is Silvina. I live in northwest of Argentina in small state named Tucumán. I don't speak fluid English, so I hope you can understand me. I join to the group for remembered your dad. In this group I discovered your mother's birthday is on March 13, and it's my birthday too!!! Your dad is my favorite actor all over the world. In my country, we love him very, very much. He was a beautiful human being and he is a very talented actor. For a picture of our newspaper: La Gaceta, I know that your dad visit to my city, but I don't know the year. On your site I discovered many pictures of your mother. She is very beatiful, elegant and a gorgeus lady, like you. I send you my love, and my love too for your mom, your brother, and your son. Muchos saludos. Silvina - Sunday, January 19, 2003 at 17:18:16 (PST) Thank you for keeping your site about your dad updated. I am not sure how to measure the "greatness" of an actor, but I have never heard anyone say anything but warm and tender words of him. To be remembered in only warm and tender words is a great achievement. God bless you and your family. Nehemiah <NehemiahCox@Hotmail.com> - Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at 20:54:22 (PST) Dearest Toni, I am writing all the way from the other side of the globe, that is Singapore. It is an honor to say hello to the daughter of my favorite hero. I have watched your dad in Lost In Space and Zorro and I'm so glad that your brother is carrying on the legacy. Your website in honor of your dad is terrific and he would have been so proud of you and Guy Jr. Thank you for bringing back some fond memories of your father. Your dad is the greatest and will always be. Valerie Pereira, Singapore <valp56@hotmail.com> - Thursday, January 02, 2003 at 05:05:09 (PST) Hi Toni and family, all the best wishes and a happy new year from Holland (The Netherlands). We love to see the pictures of your father and the similarity between your brother and father. My son, at the age of 2, almost 3, is a big fan of Zorro. Every time we watch Zorro he always wears his Zorro outfit. He also makes the famous moves with his sword. For me, Guy was and is the only real Zorro. Great website. Thanks!! Mick van Amersfoort <bettina@planet.nl> - Monday, December 23, 2002 at 00:15:45 (PST) Certainly it is an honor and a pleasure to have this oportunity to say hello to the daughter of the hero of my childhood. Since a few months ago my wife, my two sons and I can see every night "Zorro" at the Fox Kids Channel, and everybody can hear all of us singing "Out of the night..." (in spanish, of course). Like a Christmas gift for you and your family, I write the translation of that song in spanish: "En su corcel, cuando sale la luna, aparece el bravo Zorro. Al hombre del mal, él sabrá castigar, marcando la Z del Zorro" Merry Christmas from the Ortiz family, from Guayaquil, Ecuador, South America. Javier G. Ortiz <jortiz@cablenoticias.com> - Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at 06:35:56 (PST) Hi Toni, Unfortunately I never saw your dad as Zorro. I hope I can see the re-runs sometime. But like most of my generation, Lost in Space always brings back fond memories of my childhood. I stumbled on this site from a classic tv site. I visited yours and your brother's site. It's nice to see your father is survived by a wonderful, loving family. I wish I could have known him because he seems to have been a great guy. Best wishes for your family and thank you for a wonderful site that brings back some good memories. John Kennedy <jfk@gol.com> - Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at 06:45:30 (PST) Toni, what a great site and tribute to your dad. Growing up, he was my favorite as Zorro and was the best as Professor John Robinson on Lost in Space. I'm glad there are sites out here to remember this talented man, mainly sites like yours and your brother's. Your dad would be proud of the both of you. Joseph Donohue <josephdonohue@webtv.net> - Sunday, December 01, 2002 at 14:28:10 (PST) When I was seven years old, Guy came to Argentina and was seen in tv show. Raul Rustan - Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 19:11:52 (PST) Hi Toni, when I was a kid, Zorro was the program I wouldn't miss for the world. Now I am older (40), I see my kids watching Zorro and they like it as much as I did. What I mean is that Zorro is timeless and so is your father. Karel <k.lemmens@yucom.be> - Monday, November 11, 2002 at 11:19:12 (PST) Beautiful website in honor of your father. I was curious today (after hearing of the death of Jonathan Harris) about the cast of Lost in Space, one of my favorite childhood memories. Thank you so much for walking me down memory lane today and learning a little more about your father. It appears he was a tremendous family man. Glad to see that. Raymond Maniscalco <Manis916@aol.com> - Wednesday, October 02, 2002 at 15:07:16 (PDT) Dear Toni: Glad to know about this site. As a child, I always looked forward to coming from school to watch Zorro. In 1973, when your dad first came to Buenos Aires, my aunt took me to a place where he made an appearance. Right now, Zorro is being aired by Fox every evening and now I can appreciate it as problably the best TV show ever. The superb music and orchestration, the fencing, characters, clothing, everything is excellent. Congratulations, you´re really beautiful. I spent many years in California where I was educated as a dentist, and have a couple of brothers there, but decided for the time being to live in Buenos Aires. God Bless. Rick Darling <darlingdds@yahoo.com> - Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 10:57:18 (PDT) Hi Toni, I liked very much your site. I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, now living in Spain. I first fell in love with Zorro at aged eleven and still feel the same today. In today's world we need more role models such as your dad. I'll always remember him and the special feelings he invokes. God bless him and his. Pat Schabram - Sunday, September 15, 2002 at 09:19:39 (PDT) Toni - After watching TV all day today (Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002) I had to escape for awhile. What better place to go than back to my childhood and the man I fell in love with at the tender age of eleven. Your site about your dad (and your mom - very touching) was just what I needed. Your dad always had the ability to lift my spirits and make me happy. I've taped all the Zorro episodes and other shows, too, that he was in, but by far the Guy Williams I will always remember and hold close to my heart is the man who introduced me to Zorro. He has been and always will be very special to me - one of a kind. Thank you so much for sharing your father with me and the rest of his fans. You'll never know how much it means to me. Aaron <aaronky2000@yahoo.com> Flaherty, Ky USA - Friday, March 29, 2002 at 15:39:41 (PST) I am turning 50 on May 21, 2002. I always thought Armando was Mexican American until I read his biography. The Latin looks also found in Italians certainly stand out. I grew up in El Paso, Texas imitating the masked man in 1960 as a kid and was my favorite costume during Halloween. It seems that we lost a golden era of television after the happy days of the late 50's and early 60's came to an end. Looking through your website Toni, I rediscovered the long nostalgic feeling I thought had been lost, come alive. I truly enjoyed your website and your stories about your Dad. I am a poet and would like to dedicate a poem in honor of your father. Muchas Gracias! James A. He was such a handsome man and I feel very sorry he died so young. I would like to know who Mr. Williams resembled at home more, Diego, Zorro or John Robinson. Such as, was he ever married, what did his wife look like, did he have any children, was he still living, if not, when did he die, etc. Now I know about you, your brother and your gorgeous mother. Guy Williams was the best! Always was and always will be. I have every Zorro episode in black and white and color and am saving them for my grandchildren who love him already. I am also a big fan of Neil McCoy. You said you were in one of his videos. Maybe you could tell us which one and I could go buy it. Thank you again, so very much! Cindy Walnetski <cwalnetski@aol.com> - Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at 17:04:10 (GMT) Hi Toni! I cannot begin to tell you what it is like to watch Zorro on Disney at 52 and enjoy it as much as I did when I was 8 years old, in 1957. I wish they were in color then and that they had made more episodes. It was such a great show for all. I have been Zorro many times at Halloween parties because I resemble your father very much and everyone always calls me Guy. So, of course, I have a well trimmed mustache to go along with the look. You have a beautiful family...just like you. Vin Orsino <ElZorro77@aol.com> - Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at 00:48:06 (GMT) I have to honestly say that this seems to me to be the most loving and caring family I have ever seen or heard of. I am 44 and never missed an episode of Lost In Space, my all-time favorite TV show, since that first episode 36 years ago. Your father was such a dashing leading man and will always be a true star. Best wishes to you. Mike Mitchell <mikey_mitch@hotmail.com> - Wednesday, September 12, 2001 at 23:49:46 (GMT) I have been reading and viewing your website. The love and respect for Guy that your family and friends show, are a tribute to a man who stood for kindness and 'right'. Makes me know that I must have detected this 'tender' personality -- I have become a fan -- (and I thought it was only because he looks like the man I married 50 years ago, who is also 6'3" with beautiful hazel eyes and who is also a kind man). I am enjoying the new colorized Zorro series every evening! Trudi Padgett <RCPadgett29@aol.com> - Thursday, September 06, 2001 at 13:54:31 (GMT) Love your website! I'm a GREAT fan of Zorro. I am so sorry he is not here with you for his special time. He was wonderful and the best Zorro. I still watch the reruns here in Florida late at night. I wish I could have been there but business had other plans. I loved the pictures and I think everyone did such a great job. He was a very handsome, special person. Cherish your memories. My best always to you and family. Gloria Wynn-Currie, Jacksonville, Fla. <Beachgwc@aol.com > - Saturday, August 25, 2001 at 14:19:12 (GMT) Toni: I just wanted to say what a great job you and the family have done with keeping your dad's memory alive. He would have been so proud of all of you. Guy was, and is, my hero and that smile is always on my mind. Whatever you do, please know that your father has made so many people happy and always will. As long as we have TV, we will have Zorro. Raul Moreno <rpmoreno@cbs.com> - Friday, August 24, 2001 at 09:04:57 (GMT) Toni: I am very happy for the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Guy is the only Zorro there is and will ever be. I hope to be able to meet you in person one day. Carlos E Mendoza, Barquisimeto, Venezuela <carlosmendoza65@hotmail.com> - Sunday, August 05, 2001 at 15:37:18 (PDT) Hi Toni, I know you won't belive this and you probably think it is a joke, but my name is Toni Charlotte Williams. I couldn't belive it when I went on your site. It was so strange because not only having the same name, you spell it the same way as me too. I am 13 years of age and would love to hear from you. What are your hobbies? I love singing and swimming. Love, Toni Williams <toniwilliams52@hotmail.com> - Sunday, August 05, 2001 at 13:43:17 (PDT) Dear Toni, I have a penpal from Argentina who was a great fan of your dad's. He wanted me to write a congratulations on this site. I am also a big Zorro fan and wished I could have been at the ceremony. I hope you will put lots of pictures of the ceremony on this site. Your dad will never be forgotten. I love to watch the reruns. Disney should have donated to his star and Zorro should have been on tv for many years. Congratulations again. Theresa Smith <Smith@f-tech.net> Minersville, PA. USa - Friday, August 03, 2001 at 16:19:49 (PDT) Toni, My husband and I drove up from San Diego for the HWOF Star ceremony today. I was thrilled to meet you and get pictures of you, your Mom and your handsome son. I didn't catch Steve. What a beautiful family you have. I'm hoping there will be a video of the event for sale. I would love to have one. I was 10 years old when "Zorro" debuted and now watch the reruns on the Disney Channel. It was great to see so many of the guest stars today. I did get some pictures. Did I mention, "I'd love to have a video"? I enjoy the sites linked to your brother's site. I checked out vaultdisney.com which led me to Bill Cotter's site, Steve's site, your site and then back to the links on Steve's site. It is nice to know that your dad was a good guy off stage too. I didn't know he passed away until last year when I found Bill Cotter's site. I was pleased to know I share your father's birthday, Jan. 14. Kind of a bond. I do have all 78 episodes of Zorro on tape; all four 1 hour movies; and thanks to the TV schedule link, I'm taping other movies your dad appeared in. I don't watch much TV and after 50, I guess we all welcome reliving some of our childhood. Thank you. Loretta "Casey" Vogel <kc@quixnet.net> - Thursday, August 02, 2001 at 22:31:49 (PDT) I was just looking around to see if there was any other female out there with my name. Toni Williams - Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at 20:47:31 (PDT) Toni, Being a Disney fan all my life (I'm in my 50's), naturally I checked out Zorro when it debuted and never missed it. I still watch episodes on the Disney channel. When I read of Guy's death, I mourned as if I'd lost a family member. Connie Van Nevel <connievannevel@aol.com> - Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at 00:58:34 (PDT) Hi Toni, I am enjoying your website and the others I have found. We can never tire of Zorro/Guy Williams information. I am wondering if the biography is still in progress and if a publisher was found? When can we look forward to buying a copy? Seems like everyone would be the first in line at the bookstores, including myself and my husband. Donna Fernandez <d2dfernand@earthlink.net> - Thursday, July 12, 2001 at 07:38:50 (PDT) Hello Toni: First, forgive my English, please. I am a Venezuelan fan of Zorro and a fan of your father too. I think he is the best Zorro ever. Zorro is one of my favourite memories of my childhood. It was important to know this website, that is an example of your love for your marvelous father. He was an unforgettable person. Congratulations Toni for your website and let me tell you that you are a very beautiful woman, inside and out. Greetings from Venezuela. Gerardo Ulises Pérez G. <gerulperez@hotmail.com> - Friday, July 06, 2001 at 23:43:04 (PDT) Hi Toni. Your site is so moving. I actually have tears in my eyes. I'm a 41-year old single mom who loved the Zorro reruns as a child and now enjoy them with my children. My father was an Italian, and for some reason, when I visited your site and saw pictures of you with your dad, it brought back memories of me with my dad. Thank you so much for the beautiful site. I also want to say that the tribute to your mother is wonderful. She's very lucky to have a daughter that loves her so. Cris <cffturitto@aol.com> - Friday, July 06, 2001 at 19:45:36 (PDT) You're gorgeous...and seem nice. Kevin Fitzpatrick <zz6000@aol.com> - Tuesday, July 03, 2001 at 11:06:00 (PDT) Toni, Thank you and your family for sharing your family photos. They are great. Watching your Dad as El Zorro on re-runs via the Disney channel brings back a lot of memories and smiles. Good luck with your quest for a gold star for Zorro. Helen Tannenbaum <htannenbaum@hunton.com> - Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at 12:54:58 (PDT) Really nice site, enjoyed it immensely. Kim Burton <kbrfb@kih.net> - Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at 17:18:16 (PDT) Zorro was my BIGGEST childhood hero ; I had the costume and would play Zorro with a neighborhood girl. I'm almost addicted to Zorro re-runs and just love watching your dad play the part. Thanks for sharing with us! George Rickley - Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at 06:33:51 (PDT) This was the only site I have ever been moved by. Beautiful. Thanks Toni for sharing it. Phil Heaton <phil_heaton@hotmail.com> - Monday, May 21, 2001 at 04:51:51 (PDT) Toni, I was very lucky that I had a chance to meet your father back in 1975 when he was in Argentina. I was ten years of age at the time and I wanted to meet Guy Williams more than anything in the world. He was going to be at the convention center in Buenos Aires and nothing was going to stop me that day. When I got there with my cousin, we stood in line for over four hours and at the entrance, they told us we were not old enough to enter without a parent. That for sure was not going to stop me and my cousin. We went around the building and went over the wall. Once we were in, there were hundreds of people everywhere. I will never understand something. Somehow Mr. Williams was standing in front of me and my cousin. We got to hang out all day and take pictures with him. He made me very happy and it was a big influence in my life. I will never forget that. I will be there when he gets a star on the Walk of Fame. Hector Acuna - Saturday, May 19, 2001 at 18:38:18 (PDT) Toni, I tape the Zorro episodes on the Disney Channel every night. I never tire of them. Thank you for keeping the memories of your father alive for all of us. John Kamrar <lefty@gosfgiants.com> - Thursday, May 17, 2001 at 14:06:25 (PDT) Hi Toni, what can I say that hasn't been said in your guestbook? I just want to mention that Guy Wiiliams was the greatest. I still watch the reruns of Zorro and it's still so exciting. Thanks for sharing with us the wonderful pictures in your site. Julio Serra <juliofs@banconordeste.gov.br> - Thursday, May 17, 2001 at 06:21:32 (PDT) Hi Toni! Thank you for sharing yours and your father's lives with us!! You've done a wonderful job. I am a fan of your father's work, particularly Lost In Space. Bob Derouin <bobcath28@msn.com> - Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at 17:10:11 (PDT) Hi Toni: I was so happy to read in the Sunday Magazine about your tribute to your father. Zorro was a favorite of mine as a child, when things were happier for me and now that I am older, I subscribed to the Disney Channel just so that I can watch your father star in Zorro. In my neighborhood as a child, everyone wanted to be Zorro. (even girls) I am happy to hear that you and your brother are keeping his memory alive. I will also do it with my triplet grandchildren, 2 girls and a boy. Thank you. Barbara <WTripletnana@aol.com> - Sunday, May 13, 2001 at 17:15:24 (PDT) Toni, I went to your site, downloading the wav of September Song, still playing as I wrote this. I understand how much your parents loved that song, got tears in my eyes, it is quite Guy ! It is so nostalgic and romantic. Thank you for sharing his favorite song, thinking of you in that period. Love Elise <elzorro@infonie.fr> - Tuesday, May 08, 2001 at 09:56:39 (PDT) Toni, I love your site regarding your whole family. I'm 52 years old and love watching anything that your dad is in: Zorro, LIS, Sindbad, Damon and Phythis, Mississippi Gambler, etc. Marian <mariana_1820@yahoo.com> - Thursday, May 03, 2001 at 04:25:32 (PDT) Hi Toni, Thank you for a wonderful site and all the memories of your farther. I fail to add anything already said about your farther. I am 53 and he will always be the one and only Zorro. Best wishes. Tony Giannantonio <gtgiannantonio@cs.com> - Thursday, April 05, 2001 at 16:29:24 (PDT) My compliments on your site. I am a long time fan of Zorro, Bonanza and Lost in Space. I wish you much success with your site and career. Peace. The Ancient One <psychicman@email.com> - Thursday, April 05, 2001 at 06:37:42 (PDT) What a wonderful treat to accidentally find your site. Both my husband and I are original Zorro fans and now at 51, we have to stay awake til midnight to see the series. Your dad was the most handsome hero ever. He was truly great and we both love every rerun as much as we did the early '50's TV original episodes. His Zorro personality must have mirrored his real life personality. Thanks so much for sharing him with us. This is definitely the highlight of the weekend to see him again!! Donna Fernandez <d2dfernand@earthlink.net> - Saturday, March 31, 2001 at 16:48:23 (PST) Hello, Congratulations on your site. I am a fan of your father. (I am 51 years old). I used to watch all the episodes of Zorro. I am living in the Quebec Province in Canada. Just want to tell you that. Good day. Ghislaine Gravel <ghislaine.g@videotron.ca> - Sunday, March 11, 2001 at 19:20:59 (PST) Hello, My son is going to be nine years old soon and I thought you'd like to know that in the last few months he's become a huge Zorro fan. He watches it on the Disney Channel over the weekend due to the fact it's on late at night. I've been searching the web for Zorro items, and he tells me he wants a fiesta not a birthday party now. I'm gald he's enjoying the show so much, and he is constantly singing the theme song from the show. He is already planning to dress as Zorro for Halloween this year. I thought you'd like to know that your Dad has a new younger fan, and I'd so much rather have him watching your Dad's old reruns then what is offered today! Sincerely, the mother of the newest Zorro fan, Jonathan Stokes. Dana Stokes <mrstokes2@sgi26.netservers.net> - Thursday, March 08, 2001 at 14:46:30 (PST) Toni, I was born in 1976 but your father was one of my heroes. I would watch the Zorro reruns that they had on when I was a kid and I haven't stopped watching it since. I was Zorro a couple of years ago for Halloween. It was awesome. Your father was the greatest Zorro that ever lived. I will never forget his smile while he was swordfighting. He had a million dollar smile. Thanks for all the memories. I will cherish him in my heart forever. Jason E. L'Heureux <austin316241976@aol.com> - Friday, February 23, 2001 at 14:24:29 (PST) Hi Toni, It seems that I have always known your father as Zorro. Even though I was born in 1957 and know that I was a baby, well, 1 or 2 when Zorro first was aired, I still feel like I grew up with him. He made Zorro who Zorro is. There is none like him. I love his smile and he's oh so handsome. I love his fencing too! I am trying to collect all of the Disney's Zorro episodes. My children love to watch him too. Thanks for sharing the memories of your family with all of us. Winnie Pierson <pierson@rica.net> - Sunday, February 11, 2001 at 17:18:58 (PST) Your Dad is the only Zorro as far as I am concerned. I grew up watching Zorro in the early sixties with my older brother and sisters and I can't tell you how much I have missed seeing the series. I found out a year ago that they had colorized the series and were playing them at midnight on the Disney station. I have stayed up countless nights taping the entire series so that I will never be without these shows again. Diego is so beautiful in his outfits. I truly feel your Dad is the most handsome actor that has ever lived. He was born to play Zorro. There is no one that could ever take his place. He must have been very proud of you all. Barbara Ropiecki <nywoody@hotmail.com> - Saturday, February 03, 2001 at 16:11:52 (PST) Hi Toni, I met your father in June 1958 (if my memory is correct) at Disneyland. I was seventeen. Life Magazine was there to photograph him. The young son of the friends we were staying with was a great fan of Zorro and was wearing a Zorro hat the day we went to the park. A Life rep asked us to meet them at the town hall later that morning. And what a great surprise to see Zorro in person. Your father was so handsome and so very nice. You can imagine a teenager from Ontario Canada meeting someone so popular. Well it is 43 years later and I have never forgotten that wonderful visit to Disneyland mainly because I met your father. I still have a Zorro photo card that your father signed and even a couple of photos of him coming out of the little trailer where he changed into his costume. I was also a fan for many years of "Lost In Space". I have enjoyed visiting your webpage. A great way to honor your famous father. Bev Dibb from British Columbia <rbdibb@home.com> - Thursday, February 01, 2001 at 10:22:20 (PST) I came across your site here in Australia. Like many others, I grew up watching Lost in Space and I really enjoyed your dad's role. I have collected all the episodes and some posters and photographs. Can you advise if your father's autograph on a Lost in Space still can be purchased anywhere ? By the way, I loved your dad in The Prince and the Pauper. Ben <sales@allaboutmovies.com.au> - Friday, January 19, 2001 at 11:59:09 (PST) I am seven years old and a big fan of your dad's show Zorro. For Christmas, I asked for and got an original Zorro lunchbox and lots of other Zorro stuff. I only collect the real Guy Williams Zorro stuff. My favorite show is Zorro and the Mountian Man. I bid and won on ebay and am waiting for it to come now. One day, I want to get an autographed picture of your dad. Ryan Stewart <mad2teach2000@yahoo.com> - Thursday, January 18, 2001 at 18:47:22 (PST) Hello, Toni. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful family photos with your father's devoted fans. It's a great treat to see his casual side when the cameras weren't rolling. His memory lives on through those who knew him and those of us who have followed his career and enjoyed his work all these years. Helen <resrvcs@adnc.com> - Monday, January 15, 2001 at 11:40:43 (PST) Toni, I just love your site. Wanted you to know that in Honor of your dad's birthday January 14, I make a small donation to the American Red Cross to help the people in El Salvador. Your Dad will always be the one and only true Zorro. I marvel at his talent. I hope to be able to attend the HWOF event in August when your dad will finally be given his star. Don't want to miss that for anything in the world. Que viva El Zorro. Your Amiga from Ohio. Minerva <MLopez51@aol.com> - Sunday, January 14, 2001 at 19:40:09 (PST)< Toni, Thank you for taking me back to happier days. What a beautiful world this would be if it was only full of Zorros/Diegos/Guy Williamses! But at least it has a start with the wonderful, beautiful family he left behind, and their families. Thank you for making me feel all good and warm inside. God bless! Lollie <eskofski@bresnanlink.net> - Saturday, January 13, 2001 at 16:38:52 (PST) Hi Toni!! I love your site! Very classy. Cat Lane <meowmix242@aol.com> - Friday, January 05, 2001 at 02:41:14 (PST) I enjoyed your web site so much. I remember watching Zorro when I was younger with my brother, but I think I enjoy it even more now! You will never get those morals on television today. Your Dad was a great Zorro. My daughter likes Antonio Banderas, but in my eyes, he can't hold a candle to your Dad! Linda <ward818@msn.com> - Thursday, January 04, 2001 at 17:52:22 (PST) How happy a childhood I had watching your dad do Lost in Space. Can you imagine wanting all the merchandise I could get my hands on? Of course past a robot model, we could not afford much in the 60's, but I watched the show even after it went into syndication. 1970 found me on the school playgrounds playing John Robinson every day on the playgound equipment. I lived in Cleveland, Ohio then and Lost in Space was on (and still is to this day) the local UHF channel. I was five years into a Naval career in the early 80's when I heard that Irwin was thinking of doing a Lost in Space movie with the original cast to bring closure to the show. I was thrilled and waited and waited, nothing. I did not give up hope until that day in 1989 when I heard the news. Suffice it to say, I was utterly devastated and a part of me went with him, all the childhood memories of a young boy, gone in that instant. I have all the episodes on tape now and watch them whenever I can. I am not trying to tell my story, I just wanted you to know that I miss him terribly and I want you to know what kind of effect your dad had on my life. I have become an honest, loving and patient man because of what he contributed to my life. Thank you for providing me an opportunity to put this to paper after all these years. Richard Taylor <jupiter_2@altavista.com> - Tuesday, January 02, 2001 at 11:51:42 (PST) I loved your father in Zorro. It is one of my favorite television shows. Only seventeen, I have learned to appreciate good acting skills and family values. Your father was wonderful as is your web page. The tributes are just great. Marisa - Saturday, December 23, 2000 at 10:05:55 (PST) Toni, Let me add my voice to those who offer a thank you for sharing these pictures of some of your happy family moments. As a long-time fan of your father's it makes me feel closer to him and to you. Your Mother's Day tribute to your mother brought tears to my eyes. I wish you all the best!! With Love, SueZZZZ Susan Pearce <suezzzz@home.com> - Wednesday, December 13, 2000 at 21:00:48 (PST) My favorite show as a child, and I've never outgrown it. The excitement, the humor, the acting and the music will always make it a classic. Catherine Fair <catherinef@prodigy.net> - Sunday, December 10, 2000 at 14:04:09 (PST) Hello Toni, I'm a big fan of your father's show, Zorro. It's my favorite show in the world. Your father made the best Zorro. I've seen all of the other ones and I don't like them. I'm 10 years old. I e-mailed your brother and he gave me two pictures, one of himself and another of your father. I can never thank him enough. My mom was on E-bay bidding on some Zorro stuff, but she kept getting outbid. She did manage to get me some Zorro slides and some Zorro trading cards. I printed some Zorro pictures and gave them to my uncle, he gave them to some blind people and they put them on shirts. Now I have a Zorro shirt. I wish they made Zorro wallpaper, my room would be filled, like My Corkboard (computer game and organizer). Believe me, it's loaded. I went web surfing to find more on your father. Research shows that he had good morals and was a great family man. My mom says that's what a lot of stars on TV today don't hold. I also think that your father was and always will be the best looking guy on TV. I think that you are a lovely person and your brother is a handsome guy. I love looking at you and your brother's sites. Your father is in my memory always. Katrina Schmelter <gromit@compuzone.net> - Tuesday, December 05, 2000 at 11:15:43 (PST) I was cruising to see if the .com 'toniwilliams' was taken. I assumed it was but needed to check as I was thinking of trying to get sites for the family for Christmas, and ran into your site. At first I thought I was just looking at a site of a pretty lady in Hollywood and when I went into your message area and saw a reference to 'father' and 'Zorro', a few very old memories clicked... Hello, Guy Williams' daughter!!! I absolutely loved your father in that role. The daughter grew up to be a lovely person. You happen to strongly resemble a former secretary of mine. My wife won't believe there is another Antoinette Williams in the world. What is your middle name? Hers is Jean. Very thoughtful website. Seeing pix of your dad (and lovely mother too ) almost convinced me to get a satellite dish. I would watch too much tv then, so I won't. This was a pleasant and nostalgic visit to your site. Take care. Mike Williams <mikewill@sherbtel.net> - Friday, December 01, 2000 at 20:34:51 (PST) Hi Toni, I'm a big fan of "Lost in Space". Your dad was great in it. Thank you for sharing some of your home pictures with me. It made me feel a little closer to him. God Bless. David Massey <wheezer1@jps.net> - Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at 19:17:43 (PST) Thanks Bob and Mark! I'm thrilled you enjoy the site. To everyone... Thanks for your continued visits. My father's fans are the very best! Toni - Saturday, November 04, 2000 at 11:12:39 (PST) Your family photos are a wonderful litte glimpse into your lives. Our family enjoyed them as we also greatly enjoy the Zorro programs. My youngest son Marco Antonio is 2. He has quite a vocabulary, knowing English, Spanish and ASL. His mother is an interpreter for the local school district. He still doesn't always sleep through the night and seems to wake up exactly when Zorro comes on. Now instead of Thomas the tank engine, he wants to be Zorro for Halloween. I guess we will make the costume. Please take care. We wish all the best for you. We will be back to visit the site. Our family, Mark Cloninger <raspbear@worldnet.att.net> - Monday, October 16, 2000 at 11:49:38 (PDT) Thank you so much for the great website. Your effort will help preserve your father's memory and contribution! He would certainly be proud of you and your brother. Bob Herold - Monday, September 25, 2000 at 19:39:31 (PDT) You're so welcome Angela, Taffy (you're right about Russ!), Julia and Becki. I thank you, Brenda Lee and Shane (can you scan the photo and email it?) for such warmly expressed thoughts. Toni - Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at 22:06:05 (PDT) Toni - I cannot thank you enough for sharing your family photos. I have enjoyed them! I have always loved your father as Zorro. While keeping late hours with my baby I rediscoverd Zorro and your father. A few years have passed and we share our love of Guy and Zorro as a family. What a beautiful person your father was! A great man! I love you site and it is a great tribute! Thank you Toni! Becki <victoriasvintage@aol.com> - Saturday, September 16, 2000 at 22:22:41 (PDT) Toni, I had to write and let you know how your father has touched the life of at least one of this new generation. My nephew Jesse has fallen in love with your dad as "Zorro"/Don Diego de la Vega. When the old version with Tyrone Powers came on satellite, he did not want to watch it because Guy Williams was not playing the role of "Zorro"/Don Diego de la Vega. He has actually requested to be Zorro for Halloween. Do you know how hard it is to find a Zorro costume now? Impossible! I did not have the priviledge of seeing your father as "Zorro"/Don Diego de la Vega or Professor John Robinson growing up, but I feel like a kid all over again when I watch the "Zorro" episodes with Jesse. He truly has touched many generations and I am sure he will touch many more to come. I hope he realized this before he died. God bless you and your family and may your father's memory go on for many more generations to come. Brenda Lee Johnson <jbl11574@hotmail.com> - Saturday, September 16, 2000 at 20:29:09 (PDT) My father worked with computers in the mid 60s for an American company and when Lost in Space came to Australia, where I live, I thought how much Guy Williams looked like my dad. My father disappeared when I was 4 years old. I'm 35 now, and I haven't seen him since. He was 6 foot 3 inches and had dark hair and eyes. I suppose Guy Williams gave me a bit of a male role model to help me through the loss. My mother died of cancer when I was 13. I thank God for people like your father who was a decent man and a good role model for young men without fathers. Would you like me to send you a photo of my father? There are some similarities. Thanks Toni, Shane <israelee1@hotmail.com> - Saturday, September 16, 2000 at 02:46:48 (PDT) Thank you Toni, and all of your family, for sharing these photos with us, complete strangers. I was too little to stay up and watch "Zorro" when it first aired, and if I did, it was probably only to see Tornado!! (Strange, but my horse was named Twister!) But now that I am a big girl, I stay up every night to watch the reruns. Just can't seem to get enough. I love the way your Dad talked with his hands! And a PS: The tribute to your mom was very moving. The warmth and generosity that you and your brother show towards your Dad's fans, *must* have come from them. Now, I am a fan for life. Julia Brooks <a11ebrook@aol.com> - Friday, September 15, 2000 at 16:47:37 (PDT) OK, now I'm really blushing, Mary. Thank you. The fact remains that it is your cleverness and Russ' extensive knowledge that made this a fun and successful project. My nod goes to you both. Toni - Thursday, September 14, 2000 at 22:31:53 (PDT) I too would like to thank you publicly Toni for sharing these special photos with us, your father's fans. It is a real treat to get a glimpse of the man and not just the actor. I also have to give credit where credit is due. This site was designed by Toni herself. She told me what she wanted to include, what her favorite colors are etc, and I just did what she asked. The site totally reflects her and her tastes. Yes, Russ was here to offer us his technical support. Thank you all for the compliments written here and privately, and most of all, thank YOU Toni! Mary Spooner - Wednesday, September 13, 2000 at 15:13:11 (PDT) Toni, what a very nice job you and Mary (and I would guess maybe Russ, too) did on the new site. Thanks again for sharing with all of your Dad's fans. Taffy Taffy - Tuesday, September 12, 2000 at 18:16:16 (PDT) Hello Toni! I am 13 years old and a fan of your dad's! I love watching "Zorro" on the Disney channel. Your website is wonderful! Thank you very much for sharing these pictures of your dad and family! James Pierrelee <jpierrelee@hotmail.com> - Thursday, September 07, 2000 at 12:29:30 (PDT) Hi Toni. Great website. I grew up in the 50's and of course watched Zorro. In fact I still watch it almost every night, thanks to reruns and the Disney channel. Guy WAS Zorro. And what a pleasure for me to write this to his lovely daughter. Thanks for being there.
